From our first notes in a Viennese chapel to the world's most iconic stages.
Founded in Vienna by Maestro Viktor Strauss as a chamber choir for performing sacred works at St. Stephen's Cathedral.
Under Clara Weiss's direction, the repertoire expanded toward atonal and experimental compositions, generating controversy and admiration.
First international tour. Performances at the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall established Darkchoir as an avant-garde reference.
